Data collected
You do not need to provide any information to browse the site; there is no membership, no comment area and no newsletter. Personal data is processed only when you fill in the contact form of your own accord: your name, your e-mail address and your message.
Contact form
The details you enter in the form are used solely to reply to your message; they are not shared with third parties and are not processed for marketing purposes. Messages are not stored on the site; at the moment you send them, they are forwarded as an e-mail to Burak Doğan's mailbox through the form-delivery service Web3Forms (web3forms.com). The servers of this service are located abroad, and forwarded messages may remain in its records for a limited period under the service's own policy. If you would rather not use this route, you can write directly to the e-mail address on the site. You may request the deletion of your message or the correction of the information held about you by writing to the same address.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses no cookies; there are no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. All files, including fonts, images and the curriculum vitae, are served from the site's own address.
Map
The map in the Contact section does not load by itself. When you press the “Show map” button, the map is loaded from Google Maps; from that moment a connection to Google is established, Google may use cookies, and Google's own privacy policy applies.
Contact by e-mail
When you write to the e-mail address given on the site, your message and your sender address are used only to reply to you; they are not shared with third parties and are not processed for any other purpose.
Hosting
The site is hosted statically on Cloudflare infrastructure. As with every website, the hosting provider may keep standard access logs for security and technical operation; these logs are not collected or processed by the site owner and are not linked to individuals.
External links
The privacy practices of the publisher, journal and social-media pages reached through links on the site are subject to their own policies.
Changes
When this policy changes, the current text is published on this page and the date above is updated.
